Timothy Joins Paul and Silas

came also to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple was there, named bTimothy, cthe son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek.
2He was well spoken of by dthe brothers
Or  brothers and sisters; also verse 40
at Lystra and Iconium.
3Paul wanted Timothy to accompany him, and he ftook him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew that his father was a Greek. 4As they went on their way through the cities, they delivered to them for observance gthe decisions hthat had been reached by ithe apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem.

Acts 17:10

Paul and Silas in Berea

immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived they lwent into the Jewish synagogue.

Acts 17:14

14Then the brothers mimmediately sent Paul off on his way to the sea, but Silas and nTimothy remained there.
